Puella Magi Madoka Magica

魔法少女まどか☆マギカ

A 12-episode television series from Shaft, broadcast January 7, 2011 to April 22, 2011. Episodes run about 24 minutes. Action, Drama, Fantasy, Mahou Shoujo.

A magical-girl show that is structurally a horror story, with Inu Curry’s collage sequences doing work that exposition would have ruined.
