Top 5 Classic Shonen Anime, Ranked

Power-ups, rivals, after-school TV and the five series that taught a whole generation what anime could be.

Shonen anime is built on a simple promise: a kid with a dream, a rival who pushes back, and a fight that means more than the punches in it. These five made that promise and kept it for hundreds of episodes.

Each one still works for someone pressing play for the first time.
